R&D Specialist and EU Proposal Developer

Your mission

We are seeking to recruit two professionals for the drafting of R&D&I projects within the Project Management and Coordination area.

The R&D Specialist and EU Proposal Developer will work in close collaboration with members of the Technology and Laboratory areas. In addition, the position will require establishing partnerships with external stakeholders in order to build consortia and prepare proposals at European level as well as large national consortia.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and draft large-scale European and national proposals together with AIMPLAS researchers, primarily focused on the European Commission Framework Programme, as well as other programmes such as the European Defence Fund (EDF), Digital Europe, LIFE, Interreg and PRIMA.

  • Define the value chain roles required to build competitive consortia.

  • Establish strategic alliances with key European stakeholders to foster collaboration.

  • Advise and guide researchers in defining project objectives, KPIs, alignment with European Commission funding topics, work package implementation and expected impact.

  • Participate in events, information days, brokerage events (B2B), and related networking activities.

Your profile

  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

  • High level of English and Spanish, both spoken and written, demonstrable.

    Experience:
    Previous experience in R&D&I projects is desirable.
    Experience in proposal writing within European Framework Programmes (Horizon Europe, H2020, LIFE, EDF, Interreg, PRIMA) as well as at national level with funding bodies such as AEI and CDTI (including calls such as Misiones, Cervera, etc.) is desirable.
